Why sizes differ between countries
Every region measures feet differently — some by inches, some by centimeters, some by arbitrary historical scales. The same foot can be a US 9, UK 8, EU 42 or JP 26.
Men vs women
US women's sizes run about 1.5 sizes larger than men's. EU sizes are usually identical for both genders.
UK vs US
UK men's shoes run about half a size smaller than US. UK women's run about 2 sizes smaller than US women's.
Always try first
Brands vary — Nike, Adidas and local brands all fit differently. Use the converter as a starting point, not the final answer.
