Tips for a photo that gets accepted
Most passport photos are rejected for simple, fixable reasons. Follow these rules before you upload.
Face position
Face forward, eyes open and level, head covering 70–80% of the frame. No tilting, no squinting.
Lighting
Use even, soft light from the front. No shadows on your face or background, no red-eye.
What to avoid
No hats or head coverings (except religious), no sunglasses or glasses with thick frames, no smile with teeth showing in some countries.
