How fair splitting works
Everyone's paid amount is compared with their fair share. Then debts are chained so the total settles with the fewest possible bank transfers.
Fair shares
Each traveler's share is their portion of the total — evenly split unless you leave someone out of a specific expense.
Selective sharing
Not everyone paid for everything. For each expense, pick exactly who benefited so personal items stay personal.
Minimal transfers
