Combined Gas Law Calculator

Pick which variable to solve, enter the other five, and let the calculator handle unit conversions while it works out P₁V₁/T₁ = P₂V₂/T₂.

P₁V₁ / T₁  =  P₂V₂ / T₂

P₂—
The combined gas law
P₁V₁/T₁ = P₂V₂/T₂ = constant
It merges Boyle’s law (P ∝ 1/V at constant T), Charles’s law (V ∝ T at constant P) and Gay-Lussac’s law (P ∝ T at constant V). Temperatures must be in kelvin: K = °C + 273.15. To solve for any variable, cross-multiply, e.g. P₂ = P₁V₁T₂/(T₁V₂).

🔢 Six-way solver

Solve for any of P₁, V₁, T₁, P₂, V₂ or T₂.

🔩 Unit conversions

atm / kPa / mmHg, L / mL and K / °C / °F handled for you.

✅ Auto checks

Filled-in targets are verified against the others when possible.
