Linear interpolation: rank = p/100 × (n − 1), index i = floor(rank), fraction f = rank − i, then P = x[i] + f × (x[i+1] − x[i]).
Nearest rank: position = ceil(p/100 × n), value = x[position − 1].

Type 50 for the median, 25 for Q1, 75 for Q3, 90 or 95 for benchmarks.
